Hi, I’m Ellie.

I'm a California-licensed architect, designer, and founder of Form Noor.

I have over ten years of experience working for the world’s largest architecture firm. While there, I lead teams in both design and documentation on an array of project types, but specialized in luxury global hospitality.  I managed people, client relationships, tight construction schedules and budgets, and produced construction drawings with an extreme attention to detail.

I’ve always loved a challenge, especially a design challenge. Buying a house no one else wanted and transforming it into a home became my greatest experiment and ultimately, the foundation of Form Noor. It was a high-risk leap, not unlike leaving a comfortable corporate career to build something of my own.

Based in Los Angeles, I’m inspired by older, character-rich spaces ready for their next chapter. I believe whole-heartedly that in order to reimagine the future of a place, we must honor it’s history. That is the pathway to purposeful, soulful design. At it’s core my work explores natural materiality, proportion, and restraint.

  • As a California-licensed architect, I provide comprehensive architectural services including ground-up homes, additions, and the thoughtful transformation of existing structures. My work ranges from new construction on undeveloped sites to the sensitive reimagining of lived-in homes—each approached with equal care, rigor, and attention to detail.

    I guide clients through the full architectural process from initial concept through construction completion. This includes visioning and feasibility, schematic design, design development, permitting and approvals, consultant coordination, and construction administration. Whether you are embarking on your first building project or are well-versed in the process, I provide clear communication, structure, and advocacy at every phase.

    My approach is highly collaborative and deeply contextual. Each project is treated as a unique opportunity shaped by its site, architecture, and the people who inhabit it. Scope, services, and design direction are carefully tailored to align with client goals, lifestyle, and budget—ensuring that the final outcome feels both intentional and personal.

  • I offer full-service interior design spanning concept development through final installation. Services include space planning, finish and material selection, custom millwork and furniture design, lighting design, construction drawings, permitting coordination, and project management.

    My work is grounded in a holistic approach that aligns interiors with the architectural framework—ensuring cohesion in materiality, proportion, and spatial experience. I collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and builders to balance design vision with function, constructability, and budget.

    I specialize in older, character-rich homes requiring thoughtful, bespoke renovation. Whether restoring original elements or introducing new interventions, the focus is on creating interiors that feel layered, authentic, and enduring.

  • I offer hourly design consultations for clients seeking targeted guidance outside of full-service engagements. Sessions are tailored to your specific questions and may address:

  • I pursue select development opportunities through equity partnerships focused on the acquisition, renovation, and resale of distressed residential properties. Projects are design-led and strategically positioned to unlock value through thoughtful planning, architectural upgrades, and high-impact interior transformation.

    My role spans site evaluation, feasibility, design direction, permitting oversight, and construction coordination—ensuring each investment is guided by both creative vision and market awareness. The goal is to deliver character-rich, architecturally compelling homes that stand apart in their submarket.

    Target projects are structured around an anticipated 12-month path to market, with scope and partnership terms evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
