The Vintage Inspired Bath

This primary bath was about honoring the mid-century material palette and accentuating the tall ceilings in an otherwise small space. For the vanity wall, custom stained maple tambour paneling and a matching vanity took several tries to get the color just right - the perfect mix and brown and honey tones that fit its vintage inspiration. The vanity was designed to float about the terrazzo floors to make the floor area feel larger, and integrated drawer pulls keep the horizontal lines clean. Shallow concrete vessel sinks sit atop a white quartz counter. Wall-mounted faucets and a cantilevered stone shelf keep the countertop free of clutter white providing functional decorative storage. The globe sconces were the perfect mid-century finishing touch.
