The Renewed Exterior

A tragic renovation to the original 1961 design in the 80s left the exterior of the home a single-tone of beige. Keeping all original proportions and windows the same, this new renovation shows that a simple face lift goes a long way. New cedar board siding painted matte black complements the new concrete driveway while reintroducing wood at the soffits instantly brings warmth to the facade. A white brick accent wall emphasizes the original proportions white adding texture and lightness. A solid wood entry door paired with an oversized globe pendant finally make the house more approachable. Finally, a bold and sculptural desert landscape gives identity and life to the home.
